Why Your Politics Matter, If You Want Access to My Body

It’s absurd to think it wouldn’t matter when my body is involved…and pleasure should be a factor, in addition to the power dynamics.

My body, my choice.

Of course.

If you feel otherwise, expect a fight.

However, the new fight is this:

You cannot expect to have access to my body for pleasure (which requires trust) when you have voted against my rights. It’s not negotiable.

What rights? My right to have pleasurable sex without getting pregnant, which is very risky, and getting even more so, not to mention the heavy care burden borne by women for the next two decades. Including the right to protect my body from assault, to prevent unwanted pregnancy with birth control and to have comprehensive medical information with which to make informed decisions, still quite backlogged for female bodies.

So, get bent, Trump supporters! You can’t have access to bodies that you aren’t willing to protect.**
