Kink Convention Checklist: Camping / Cabin Edition

It’s a wild ride, but it can be brain draining!

I’ve been doing this long enough that I have some advice, for hotel sex parties, house sex parties, indoor conventions and now, camping and cabin! (I will note that these last two are all through the same group, Dark Odyssey, including WinterFire and Fusion, and they do an amazing job from what I can tell but I don’t have any additional experience to compare yet.)

I added a few key things to pack, prepare and expectations and norms that I noticed so you can be ready to have fun. Caveats* at the end.

Okay, you’ve decided to go, and you are feeling adventurous, so let’s make a plan!

Plan ahead! Gather your cabin mates or your camping group and talk about sites and themes. Determine who / how you are reserving a site or a cabin, and where it will be.

• Are you going for the whole week / just the weekend? How are you getting there, and who is arriving when? This is more of a group outing, so make sure to align your plans because there may be more options than just a weekend event. You’ll also want to talk about who is bringing what gear, kink and camping and things to make your cabin more home-y.
